Watch This Gigantic Chocolate Geode Egg Get Cracked Open

Amethyst wedding cakes were all the rage in 2016, but two students at the Culinary Institute of America recently took the trend to the next level by creating enormous geodes made entirely from rock candy coated with dark chocolate.

While these beautiful candies don’t involve any cake, they are super mesmerizing to see them be carved open with a cleaver and a hammer.
