OMG Emma Stone Is Obsessed With Food Blogs, Too

If you ever thought you and Emma Stone were destined to be BFFs—when she finally realizes you exist—here’s further proof: She’s just as obsessed with food bloggers as you are.

The Aloha actress told WSJ. Magazine that she has a habit of lurking on baking and mommy blogs. “Sometimes, if they seem really cool I’ll follow them in secret for like a year, and then email them,” Stone said. After lurking on Joy Wilson’s blog, Joy the Baker, she arranged a meetup at Joy’s house and the two made apple cider donuts. (You can even catch her fangirling in the editorial reviews for Wilson’s original cookbook: “Stumbling on her blog was one of the luckiest and most inspirational things that has happened to me,” she said.)

For the record, she’s not the only celeb who’s admitted to loving food blogs: Anna Kendrick considers it her guilty pleasure—”I like reading about people’s journeys to master a recipe. It feels like a small victory in the world.”—and Taylor Swift’s Vanilla Chai cookies are based on Joy the Baker’s sugar cookie recipe. She scrolls Tumblr so often her fans have coined a term for it: Taylurking.

So, basically, the next time you look up from the warm glow of your computer to learn four hours have passed and all you can show for it is 36 new recipes pinned to your “Bakers Gonna Bake Bake Bake Bake Bake” board, you’re in good company.
