How To Get Free Pancakes At Denny’s This Month

Sometimes there’s nothing better than eating breakfast for dinner—like when you’re feeling lazy and don’t want to actually cook, or when you’re overdue for a grocery run. That’s why going to diners like Denny’s is so fun. (Well that and the milkshakes.) But a trip to “America’s diner” is made even better when your short stack is free.

The chain knows this, which is why in addition to getting one of its locations a liquor license and adding a bacon ice cream sundae to the menu, Denny’s is offering free pancakes for the entire month of September. Though there is one pretty big catch: The deal is only valid for kids ages 10 and under.

Using its new pancake recipe that makes the flapjacks 50 percent fluffier, the restaurant is griddling kid-size portions of cinnamon pancakes, strawberries and cream pancakes, and chocolate chip pancakes on the house for the youths every day this month from 4 to 10 p.m.. Which means you’ll have to tote along your younger cousin, niece or nephew, or babysit a friend’s child to score a free plate of pancakes. Worth it.
