McDonald’s returned our request for comment. Brent Bohn, a McDonald’s owner and operator wrote in an email, “We do not condone the behavior depicted in this video, and are currently investigating.”

A video posted on Facebook and Instagram shows a disturbing physical fight between a McDonald’s employee and a customer. Another customer took the video and wrote on Instagram, “The lady asked for a water cup and supervisor shut down the soda machine because she wasn’t letting her get a free soda.”

The two Instagram videos have since been deleted, but the second one showed the exchange before the fight. The customer is sitting and yelling over at the employee, who is behind the counter. Both are shouting at each other, and then the customer throws a french fry in the employee’s direction.

The first clip posted shows the employee coming out from behind the counter and approaching the customer, who then throws what appears to be a milkshake in the employee’s direction. When she gets close enough, the customer hits her in the face with her tray, and it really escalates from there.

The employee begins punching the customer repeatedly, holding her down against the countertop. Then, she yanks her and throws her into a booth. Another employee steps in at that point, and tries to drag the customer away to break up the fight. This backfires though, when the customer begins fighting that employee. Then, the second employee begins hitting the woman and soon both employees are hitting her.

The second employee is dragged away from someone else, and the first employee yanks the customer by her hair onto a table nearby. She shoves her and begins to walk away, when the customer picks up a chair and walks toward the employee. The video ends with the employee walking away and the woman returning to her seat.

The whole thing is quite unbelievable — luckily it didn’t seem like anyone was seriously hurt at the end, though. Delish has reached out to McDonald’s for comment, and we’ll update the story accordingly.
