Vanilla-Almond Fruit Tart

Ingredients
1/2 c.
Planters® Sliced Almonds

NILLA Wafers
6 tbsp.
butter

package Jell-O® Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1 c.
cold milk
1 c.
Cool Whip® Whipped Topping
1 c.
mixed fresh fruit
Directions
  1. Reserve 1 tablespoon nuts. Finely chop remaining nuts; mix with wafer crumbs and butter. Press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch tart pan or shallow pie plate.
  2. Beat pudding mix and milk with whisk 2 minutes. Stir in Cool Whip®. Spoon into crust.
  3. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Top with fruit and reserved nuts just before serving.

    Variation: For stronger almond flavor, stir 1/4 teaspoon almond extract into pudding mixture before spooning into crust.

    Each serving provides: 0.5g trans fat, 6%DV vitamin A, 10%DV vitamin C, 6%DV calcium, 4%DV iron.
