Ingredients
1
chocolate cake mix, plus ingredients called for on box
1
recipe Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Icing
1
recipe Cookies and Cream Icing
1
16.5-oz. package store-bought chocolate chip cookie dough
1
sleeve Oreo cookies, broken in half
1/2 c.
rainbow sprinkles
Oreo Crumble
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Butter a 13×18-inch half-sheet pan, then line the pan with wax paper or parchment and butter the paper.
  2. Mix the chocolate cake batter according to the package directions. Pour into the prepared pan and bake until the middle of the cake feels springy when you gently press your finger against it, about 25 minutes. Set the cake aside to cool completely. Use a 6-inch round cutter to cut three layers from the pan.
  3. Meanwhile, make the cookie dough icing and cookies and cream icing. Place one cake layer on a turntable and frost the top with about half the cookie dough icing; repeat with the second layer. Place the top layer and frost the entire cake with the cookies and cream icing.
  4. Top the cake with a ring of alternating chunks of cookie dough and Oreo cookie halves. Decorate the top and the sides with sprinkles and press the Oreo crumble into the cakes along the bottom. Serve with a big glass of cold milk.
